HOW TO GET TO THE PSYCHIATRIC HOSPITAL BOHNICE, PRAGUE

The Ruzyně international airport is located 23 kilometres from the Psychiatric Hospital Bohnice. The hospital can be reached by taxi or public transport.

By Bus

When you decide to arrive by bus, most of the Prague-bound international links terminate at the Florence station. Go by subway („metro") from FLORENCE station and get off at the stop KOBYLISY. (It is the third stop from Florenc). Take the direction of the train, go up by escalator, turn to the left, then again to the left up the stairs. Take the bus number 200, 187, 177 , after about 8 minutes get off at the stop KATOVICKA. On your right hand site you will see the wall, take left direction and walk about 200 m to the main entrance to the Psychiatric Hospital Bohnice.

By Train

Having once arrived at the Prague Main Station (Hlavní nádraží) or Praha Holešovice Station (Nádraží Holešovice), take the subway („metro") from the train station running in the direction of Ládví. Get off at the KOBYLISY stop (it is the fourth stop from Hlavní nádraží or the first one from Nádraží Holešovice). Take the direction of the train, go up by escalator, turn to the left, then again to the left up the stairs. Take the bus number 200, 187, 177 , after about 8 minutes get off at the stop KATOVICKA. On your right hand site you will see the wall, take left direction and walk about 200 m to the main entrance to the Psychiatric Hospital Bohnice.

By Public Transport

Shuttle bus (No. 119) links the airport and the end station of the A metro line named Dejvická. It runs every 30 minutes. From Dejvická metro station go to MUSEUM metro station, there change to the line C, running in the direction of Ládví. Get off at the KOBYLISY station (it is the fourth stop from Hlavní nádraží or the first one from Nádraží Holešovice). Take the direction of the train, go up by escalator, and turn to the left, then again to the left up the stairs. Take the bus number 200, 187, 177, after about 8 minutes get off at the stop KATOVICKA. On your right hand site you will see the wall, take left direction and walk about 200 m to the main entrance to the Psychiatric Hospital Bohnice. The journey will take about 1 hour.
